Our Lady of Faitma

Yesterday's video that I recorded was about Our Lady, as we begin the month dedicated to her, the month of May. I mentionted how Mary is important to us because of her relationship with Christ. I would say that this is top level Mary stuff. Certainly it is important, and needs to be said, no doubt. But there is so much more to say about Mary. I watched this video, featuring our Parochial Vicar , apart of Father Burke Master's Channel, and a series he has been doing called, Be Formed. Now, I personally have not watched this series, I only watched this video with Father Brian Geary. And I did have a comment I wanted to make, and I started watching it last night, but finished it this afternoon. And there was something he said at the beginning, about how God chooses the unlikely people, in regards to the three children to whom our Lady appeared. Can you believe it! This is post #50 for this blog! And with that I do have some announcements to entail with this blog. Of course, I run another blog, Litugical Review , which is a blog that looks at all things Catholic Liturgy. And I have been doing some experimenting on this blog with different Blogger themes and back-end settings. And using blogger you can kind of have a very simple website. Which I am considering moving my Matthew Schreiner website (currently a seperate Google site with the blog built in, which is where the blog got it start as merely an addition to the site). So, I will be working behind the scenes on this site. Blogger also allows for custom domains, which I will be working on getting to work. I have had some trouble with my domain and Google. Because, obviously if I had it working with Google, the Google site would be up on my already purchased custom domain. But I will be working it out, and very soon, a decent website with blog, and custom domain, will ...

Redeemed Zoomer & Trent Horn - "Strawmen of Catholicism"

I decided that today's blog topic would be a look at two videos. Yesterday, I watched Redeemed Zoomer's video, "Five Strawmen of Catholicism" , which was similiar to a recent Trent Horn video , talking about four points that Catholics should stop making against Protestant's. RZ's video looked at five points which Protestants should stop making against Catholics. I watched Trent's video, and then yesterday I saw RZ's video, and watched it. And both of there videos are obviously very good. I want to comment on the quality of RZ's content. He had a nice slideshow presentation, which looked nice, and he had points made on there, but did not merely rely on those points and what was written. I also like RZ's thumbnail, and I think the thumbnail is kind of what made me watch it (which is a good thing for RZ), I included a screenshot I took of it.
